3M Scotch Packaging Tape Sculptures

3M recently hosted a Scotch Tape Sculpture contest, called Off The Roll, inviting artists to submit photos of their original sculptures made from clear Scotch packaging tape. I was impressed with the diversity and depth of the sculptures that people submitted.
You can see the winners here, as announced on their contest website, but I chose to share some of the Scotch packing tape sculptures that did not receive prizes.

The Scotch Tape Chess Game was a great entry, featuring a full set of chess pieces, carefully crafted from scotch packaging tape. A really creative sculpture!

This stuff looks so cool! I tried to be creative for a “fun task” at work and did something similar with Security Tape, looked quite different and not so realistic – these, however, are pretty awesome.

Yeah, the peacock is the standout winner for me. I can’t believe it’s all made from scotch tape! I thought we used a lot of tape painting, but this takes the cake.
