5 Useful Father’s Day Gifts
Jun 18, 2010
My dad is constantly working on the house, the yard, and other various projects. I never know what to get him for gifts, but I figured that he would enjoy a practical gift. If your dad would prefer a useful gift over a tie that he would never wear, this list is for you!
Duct Tape makes a great father’s day gift. There are so many uses. A man can never have enough duct tape, and would definitely appreciate this gift.- Flashlights are great gifts- my dad keeps one in almost every room. A great gift for the father who likes camping, too!
- Tool organizers or tool boxes for the man with a messy workshop. Your father will appreciate this gift, especially if you offer to help him get organized!
- Electronic cleaners are best for the technologically advanced dad. And finally,
- Work gloves. My dad can’t get enough gloves, and seems to always be using a very ratty looking pair. A fresh pair of gloves will make his chores easier, and remind him of how thoughtful you are!

I totally laughed at the idea of duct tape but I must admit it will serve a very nice gift especially for dads who like to work on the house.
Never thought of giving duct tape as a gift to anyone so this is something new.
We got my boyfriend’s Dad some Gojo orange hand cleaner for Father’s Day, and he loved it!
Great site – keep up the good work!
I love the name of your blog and your gift ideas. Very clever. Thanks
these ideas are really good ones that I would have never thought of befor seeing this blog thanks.
These are great suggestions! I know I would love any one of these gifts! Thanks for posting these ideas!
You’re welcome!
It’s funny to read “duct tape” as a gift, but I know for a FACT that my father needs this. I’m still working on my mother’s day gift, but I’m happy I stumbled across this.
Does your mother use Camay soap? It is a popular item that women love! We sell it online at wholesale prices. Find it here- http://www.toiletpaperworld.com/product.aspx?strSku=PGC+08829
This day is creeping around the corner, isn’t it? I like the tools idea. I also like how men are so simple to shop for that these 5 options would be doable. Thanks!
Great post! I think that finding the right gift can sometimes be difficult. What I think is that people tend to like unique gifts that are hard to find and not sold in stores. People like the gifts more this way since they cannot be replaced.
i will definitely give one these give to my father
Glad we could help in your gift selection!
Work gloves are always the perfect gift. They really wear out sometimes, so it’s always nice to have another pair around.
Another great suggestion, especially for my Dad: Instead of duct tape, get mascing tape. My Dad uses it ALL the time to regrip his golf clubs!
Great idea!
