Toilet paper dresses go high fashion with the White Cashmere Collection: A Touch of Pink by BT Couture and Cashmere, a Canadian toilet paper company. Cashmere donated 25 cents per pack of toilet paper to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Check out the other dresses here.

Recently, one of our readers sent us pictures of toilet paper dresses that she made. The series is called Oscar Fashions.
Liza Morado, the artist, made the first dress to enter a newspaper contest as a joke. The contest was originally to design a dress for someone to wear to the Academy Awards. So Morado created a toilet paper dress.
Though she didn’t win that contest, she began making more toilet paper dresses. They are not life-size, but rather small creations featured on 8 x 10 inch boards.
When asked what kind of toilet paper she liked to work with, Morado said,
I prefer a paper that’s not too puffy. It is easier to work with one ply rather than two ply.
Morado said that she the qualities that she looks for in toilet paper are good absorbency and softness all in one.

Winner of Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest 2010
The winner of this year’s toilet paper wedding dress contest has been announced!
Galit Zeierman of Ramat Gan, Israel won with this short and flirty wedding dress. The detail included in this toilet paper dress is incredible.
The winner took home a $1000 prize for her bridal creation. Congratulations for all your hard work!

The Wedding Contest 2010 as sponsored by Cheap Chic Weddings is an annual event. Contestants enter pictures of their toilet paper wedding dresses online. Some of the previous winners have such beautiful dresses, it’s amazing that they were made from toilet paper!
The rules state that contestants may only use toilet paper, glue, tape, and a needle and thread to assemble the wedding dress.

Here at ToiletPaperWorld.com we’re all for being thrifty and finding creative ways to save money. But this one impressed even us! Her piece is a blend of “Gone with the Wind” and Japanese origami themes.

For the fifth year in a row, Cheap-Chic-Weddings.com is hosting a Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest where participants submit a dress made only of toilet paper, tape and/or glue.
The event, which will run from April 17, 2009 to June 5, 2009, is based on the classic wedding wedding shower game where contestants create a gown made of toilet paper.
