Bulk Toilet Paper
Oct 21, 2009

You can never have too much toilet paper!
Why buy toilet paper in bulk? And why buy it online?
While a simple concept in theory – the more you buy, the more you save – buying in bulk still receives a lot of skepticism. And in certain cases, many people’s skepticism’s are actually truths. Studies have show that buying perishable or consumable goods for families doesn’t actually save you money in the long run, for most families you simply just consume more.
But what about other, non-perisable, non-consumable goods? Will buying these items (such as toilet paper, cleaning products, etc.) save you money or convenience? In short, yes and yes. Here’s why:
You don’t consume more toilet paper just because you have it
Buying necessities in bulk (such as toilet paper) does save you money because its not something that if you have more of, you use more of. Its also not something you want to run out of and we know it doesn’t expire, so as long as you don’t have storage space dilemmas, it goes back to the simple principle of the more you buy, the more you save.
You are not tempted to buy non-necessities when buying in bulk online
Think about how many times you just need to stock up on toilet paper, but by the time you left the store, you had over $75 worth of goods in your cart. That’s one expensive roll of toilet paper at $75. Whenever you add those ‘little extras’ into your cart, you’re spending money on products that you most likely don’t need. One of the many benefits of buying in bulk online is that your purchases become lean again – not only are you saving money by buying in bulk, but you’re also eliminating all those extras you don’t need.
It saves you time and effort – Your two most invaluable resources
When you are able to make your purchases or transactions online (think about how much you love online bill paying!) you get back to things you can’t put a price on – your time and your effort. With one click of a button, all of those goods you can’t live without (toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, soap, dish detergent, laundry detergent, etc.) can be shipped to you FOR FREE. Think of how convenient it would be to get everything you need for an entire year with just one order?!

I buy these products in bulk. Is this good or bad.??
It’s great- you will save money and time!
Didn’t even know there was a market for bilk toilet paper sales online – but then again why shouldn’t it ?
I’m not sure though if I bought online, if I’m gonna use it more though
We tend to buy in bulk for our household use most especially the toiletries. In this way, we could avail discounts from buying in bulk than buying in individual pack. For perishable goods, we make sure to have at least 2 weeks supply of food. More or less, we do our grocery at least twice a month.
Great article, been reading this site for a while now, thanks!
Perfect for people like me… with tons of kids (I have 5 kids believe it or not!)
Wow! How much toilet paper do you think you use weekly?
buying in bulk is a lot cheaper, that’s way I prefer buying in bulk
Toilet papers have so many uses. Any gender make use of anytime, anywhere. However, its obviously that female more often use it than male.
i didn’t know you could buy it online.
Everytime I go to the grocery, I usually buy in bulk including toiletries. You can save money and time as well in doing it, so I prefer that routine.
i buy my toilet paper by the pallet at costco.
Buying in bulk will save you money because if you take time out to make some computations, you’ll see that you can save some cents and dollars when doing so. Also, it’s pretty convenient when you won’t have to make as frequent trips to the grocery than if you bought less.
Toilet papers didn’t changed a lot since the past and i think they wont change in the future, or who knows what inventions will appear.
This will surely save money.
I have bought in bulk at Costco and online and nothing beats having it sent to your door.
As long as you can make good use of whatever products are out on the market belive me when I say it does not matter how you buy them or how many of them you buy, as long as your happy with it!
I agree whole heartly with this article, i buy non perisable items in bulk all the time. It suprises me everytime i run out because it has lasted me so long and i don’t even have to think about it anymore.
That’s so great! Buying in bulk saves time and effort as well as money.
In this current economy, it’s smart to stock up on bulk. I’ve thought about it, but I just don’t have the space for it. Do you think bulk stores price them fairly, or is it a better option to order offline?
Ordering toilet paper online at bulk prices is easy, saves time driving to the store, etc.
You’re right. Buying in bulk really saves a lot of time and money.:-) Like for shampoos, I don’t go for the sachets…
I certainly agree that buying in bulk saves money and doing the purchasing thing online saves time and effort. This is really great and practical nowadays.
This is definitely one of those products that you’re going to need, whether it’s tomorrow or next year.
Bulk definitely helps in my family because with 3 bathrooms, we need all the toilet paper possible. The price tag might look more expensive, but I definitely save more money.
I also agree. Especially with toilet paper, it’s always going to be used and it doesn’t expire! I think it’s time for a stock up. Do you still offer $75 free shipping?
We have a tendency to buy in bulk for our family use most specially the toiletries. With this way, we could avail special discounts from acquiring in bulk than purchasing in person pack. For perishable goods, we make sure to possess at the very least two weeks supply of foods. Much more or less, we do our grocery at the least two times per month.
Toilet paper is always in demand so it’s worth spending a little more upfront and having more for the long run.
I love this site buying in bulk online is certainly the wat to go. Thanks
Buying in bulk is more practical. Especially in toilet papers, they don’t expire anyway so you can have hundreds of stocks without minding them.
My wife cannot keep still if our stock of toilet paper at home dwindles down to the last pack (which consists of about 8-10 rolls!). What is it about women and toilet paper??
I know my brother and sister-in-law did this with diapers. Why is it so much cheaper?
I like buying almost everything in bulk. Things usually are cheaper when bought in bulk. As well, it saves us quite a few unnecessary trips back to the store. This not only saves on gas money, but also on my limited patience for standing in lines.
[...] 16, 2011 I recently came across this fabulous infographic proving the need for bulk toilet paper. As we have said before, toilet paper doesn’t expire and you can never have enough of it. [...]
I always love buying in bulk and I know it saves time and effort and even money because you can get discounts sometimes if you buy it in bulk. My only issue is that whenever my kids see that there are plenty of this and that they won;t stop it until it’s finish so I have to hide it where kids could not see it.
I am a snow bird and leave my cabin up for rent while I go back home. It was good to refresh on some of the more tedious items that I should be stocking up on and I will buy bulk for now on! Great advice!
It’s pretty much common sense that buying non-perishable, inelastic products such as toilet paper in bulk will save you money in the long run. So, just do (or doo doo)it.
You can never go wrong with bulk toilet paper!
Makes sense about purchasing online but what about if I shop at Costco and buy in bulk there? Ionly go to shop there if I am getting a lot of stuff already so wouldn’t it make more sense for me to just buy the TP in bulk at the same time?
My mom has always bought toilet paper in bulk and I thought it was weird that she would come home with so much of it. Now that I’m an adult and have my own place I understand- buying a few rolls at a time and running out every week or two and having to go get more at the store is so annoying!!
