ToiletPaperWorld.com support the Elephant Sanctuary & the Center for Great Apes. Both rescue retired entertainment animals and provide a safe haven for these neglected animals.

Hi Readers,

I wanted to bring your attention to 2 amazing charities that ToiletPaperWorld.com supports. As a pet-friendly workplace, we love animals of all kinds and thankfully there are so many great organizations out there that agree with us! One of our customers is the Elephant Sanctuary of Tennessee- they do amazing work providing refuge for 15 gorgeous elephants! This sanctuary is specifically designed to care for old, sick & needy elephants that have been retired from zoos and circuses. This elephant sanctuary is the largest in the nation and needs thousands of dollars per elephant per year to survive! If you would like to support this wonderful cause, please donate here or contact us about arranging a donation of necessary items like paper towels & cleaning supplies.

We also recently learned about the Center for Great Apes, a sanctuary in Florida that cares for over 40 orangutans & chimpanzees that have been retired from the entertainment industry. While we may get a few laughs from the apes on TV, these intelligent & caring animals have to suffer a lot of misery while doing so, and often end up discarded in dilapidated zoos, or in cramped cages to live out their lives. You can donate here, or contact us to send them some necessary supplies!

Thank you for reading and we hope you can help support these wonderful sanctuaries!

Q&A with Toilet Paper King, Kenn Fischburg, author of the Toilet Paper Encyclopedia on moist toilet paper vs. toilet paper.

Lately, there has been a lot of discussion over the benefits of moist wipes vs toilet paper. One study has shown that some moist wipes may cause an allergic reaction, but many people find that they enjoy the convenience and added sanitation of moist toilet paper.

We sat down with the Toilet Paper King Kenn Fischburg, author of the Toilet Paper Encyclopedia for a little Q & A on the subject.

Q. Do you prefer moist wipes over traditional toilet paper as a part of your bathroom routine?

A. Yes, if the situation calls for it. Moist wipes will do the best cleaning for sure. But in the end the regular tissue leaves my skin dry and comfortable. For very sanitary minded individuals using both is the best. You just need to spend a little more time. (In my interview with Howard Stern about this subject he was enthusiastic about utilizing moist wipes as part of the final cleansing procedure).

Q. Do you only use either toilet paper or moist wipes alone, or do you always use both together?

A. The moist wipes are great on their own but I prefer using them with regular dry tp to finish the procedure.

Q. Why is there discussion over moist wipes vs. toilet paper?

A. The question of which tp is preferred helps me understand customer needs. It is common for users to try to save money but when it comes to this subject money is not the issue. The best tp may be only pennies more per application and is well worth the extra small cost. Adding high quality premium moist wipes into the equation is like having dessert.

Q. Does this ever come up in everyday conversation?

A. The subject can be entertaining and informative. It can also be intimidating for some to speak about. Because I am known for my expertise in this area I am often drawn into this type of discussion. I try to avoid uncomfortable conversations with customers and business people unless they are in the industry.

Check out the selection of toilet paper and dispensers at ToiletPaperWorld.com for all your bathroom and restroom stocking needs.

No toilet paper, at work? Two toilet paper companies based out of NJ, Marcal Manufacturing and justtoiletpaper.com, donate toilet paper to Newark employees.

What would you do if you had no toilet paper, at work?

Last week Newark Mayor Cory Booker announced budget cut backs on many things, including toilet paper for city employees! Two toilet paper companies based out of New Jersey, Marcal Manufacturing and justtoiletpaper.com, have stepped up to donate toilet paper rolls.

This Thursday, Marcal Manufacturing will pull up in front of City Hall in a tractor trailer and hand out 50,000 rolls of recycled toilet paper! The city employees must only present their city IDs to receive a free roll of bath tissue.

In an interview with NJ.com, Mark Polish, the head of justtoiletpaper.com said, “Isn’t it someone’s right to have toilet paper at work?” His company will set up a donation button on its online site. Customers will be able to to donate Santa Clause toilet paper to city employees with a click of the mouse. Polish said the paper will also help Newark have a clean, happy Christmas in July.

Has the economy affected your toilet paper budget?
