Those hats are adorable! We used to make toilet paper rolls into kaleidoscopes when I was a kid. You fold some sturdy clear plastic into a triangle that fits snugly int the tube. Then put some saran wrap over one end. Next add sequins, beads and glitter. You’ll need some waxed paper to put at the very end of the tube, the idea is to trap the sparklies between the saran wrap and the waxed paper, basically the sequins ect should be inside the triangle. You can secure the waxed paper with a rubber band. Next cut a circle out of some pretty patterned paper. Metallic patterned paper works awesome! The circle should be slightly larger than the opening of the toilet paper tube. Use a hole punch to make a hole in the center of the circle and then tape that circle over the open end of your tube. You can decorate the rest of the tube with more paper or even finger paint!
