How to Load a Dishwasher

Mar 3, 2011

Loading a dishwasher doesn’t have to be a challenge! Get all your dishes clean in the dishwasher the first time, by following these simple tips.

  1. Before You Load – Pre-rinse dishes if they won’t be washed right away.
  2. Stacking Dishes – Face the dirtier side of dishes (tops of plates, insides of bowls) toward the center of the machine. Pots, pans and casserole dishes angle down.
  3. Never stack items – The water spray won’t be able to reach dishes that on top of other dishes.
  4. Put flat pans and other larger flat dishes along the sides and back of the rack. If they are in front, by the door, the detergent will be blocked from reaching all the dishes.
  5. Rest glasses upside down on the top rack, angled so they don’t collect water. Don’t allow them to touch, to prevent breakage.
  6. Use Fresh Detergent – Keep detergent fresh by always storing it in a cool, dry spot. Don’t buy more than a two months’ supply at once. Don’t use regular dishwashing liquid designed for hand washing dishes or it may end up looking like this:

You can buy dishwasher detergent at ToiletPaperWorld.com. Get dishes virtually spotless and remove stubborn grease with a quality dishwasher detergent in gel, powder or tabs.

Did you find that photo from my camera roll? I gave the chore of dishes to my daughter a couple months ago and we must have run out of Cascade because she used the liquid soap and filled up the soap container with a TON of soap. I came home and found soap suds everywhere and my daughter on the phone in her room. Nice to know she cared but this mess didn’t happen ever again! Didn’t think a topic like this would be required, but it does!

I know they say you need a full load when running the dishwasher, but that’s a FULL LOAD! Our family has always used detergent tablets so luckily we haven’t come across this problem.

At first glance, I didn’t think this post was really necessary. However, thinking back, I have to admit, I have overflowed a dishwasher before. My mom was furious!

Believe it or not, my husband did this over the weekend. I almost pulled my hair out. I tried to explain how to load the washer, but apparently he didn’t pay attention. Thank you for this list-I’m going to print it, and tape it to the front of our washer.

I remember when I was younger, I accidentally used laundry soap for the dishwasher. My mother screamed her head off, then laughed because I was so naive at that age. I quickly learned how to do it right.

Couple of tips if you dishes aren’t coming out clean:

    1. Check that the spray arms are clear of any foreign objects such as bits of food/packaging. If they’re not the spray arms won’t spin round.

    2. Make sure you dishwasher cutlery basket doesn’t have any holes in the bottom. Again this will prevent the spray arms from spinning round if a knife of folk is stick through the bottom.

I look at every one of the ideas you may have unveiled on your own submit. They’re quite genuine and may definitely operate. Even now, your threads are very short for beginners. Might just you desire lengthen them just a little by future time? Basically posting.
