Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest
Apr 28, 2010
The Wedding Contest 2010 as sponsored by Cheap Chic Weddings is an annual event. Contestants enter pictures of their toilet paper wedding dresses online. Some of the previous winners have such beautiful dresses, it’s amazing that they were made from toilet paper!
The rules state that contestants may only use toilet paper, glue, tape, and a needle and thread to assemble the wedding dress.
Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest 2010 Prizes
Grand Prize $1000
Second Prize $500
Third Prize $250
Contest ends May 15th, so there is only a limited amount of time to get your toilet paper wedding dress done! Photos of toilet paper dresses need to be submitted to tpdresscontest@gmail.com. See contest rules for more details.
You can buy bulk toilet paper rolls from ToiletPaperWorld.com to make your dress! Consider recycled toilet paper for an eco-friendly toilet paper wedding dress. Toilet Paper World has fast shipping and top toilet paper brands like Charmin, Kleenex Cottonelle, Angel Soft, and Scott.
What brand of toilet paper do you think would make the best toilet paper dress? 2-Ply or 1-Ply?

Before you start looking for your cheap plus size wedding dresses there is an important factor to know, the 2010 Wedding Dresses sizing on bridesmaid dresses is normally smaller than your usual dress size, so instead of relying on the cocktail dresses sizes you need to rely on your measurements instead.
The next strange but true factor when lace empire wedding dress shopping is that most bridal stores will not hold a great deal of plus size stock, some will not hold any. Instead they will show you the styles that you could have and pin a size 10 A Line Wedding Dresses on to you! This must be the maddest thing ever, you do not buy an important Ball Gown Wedding Dresses without trying it on first, you need to know if it looks good on you and if you feel fantastic wearing it.

Amazing. I am very inspired by this contest. It is a pity that the paper is not so durable.
I want to know how they were able to walk down the isle or go pee without damaging the gowns! I was looking at some pictures prior, and it’s really amazing how creative you can get outside the standard TP mummy wrap.
Not sure if they were actually used for weddings!
I’d imagine this would be the type of dress Lady Gaga would get married in.
Lady Gaga can afford dresses made of things other than toilet paper. So, Allison, I’m going to have to disagree with you there. It does seem like something that some women might be interested in if for no other reason than to save some money. I imagine it would be really hard to get it to stay though. Do they use thread? Is it allowed? What if it rains?
I first time hear about this kind a contest, i am amazed..But i think Lady Gaga had wear toilet dress few months back.
Cool! If you have a bathroom emergency during the ceremony, you’ll be prepared.
The 2011 contest is running from May 6 through June 17.
Thanks for the update Laura! We’ll be featuring the details on the blog for this year’s contest.
World is full of imaginations, Hearing first time about this kind a contest, Do not know what would be next.
Everyone has a style of dress that looks best on them. Some curvy girls might be best in a mermaid dress. They also need to take into consider the kind of man they are marrying. The dress should compliment his personal style. Is he urban sophisticated? Simple? Military? fat? Redneck? In this case of tp dresses it’s for a guy that poops a lot. All these things can determine the look that you have. I got married so fast that I was not able to take photos because we had to get my visa done so that we could be together. So heartbreaking for me. Cherish the moment. It is gone so fast but the memory remains strong, for better or for worse.

I think these kinds of contests are really great. I don’t know what they use to hold it together, though!
