Apr 12, 2010

Scott Rapid Dissolving Bath TissueScott Bath Tissue is known for being safe for use in septic systems. Many people who have septic systems are concerned with what type of toilet papers are safe to flush. Over 20% of housing units are served by septic systems, according to a 2007 survey by the Office of Wastewater Management. That’s more than 26 million housing units using septic systems!

Choose Scott Brand Bath Tissue when you’re looking for a septic safe toilet tissue. For those looking for an even faster, more rapidly dissolving toilet paper, ToiletPaperWorld.com is now offering Scott Rapid Dissolve Toilet Paper.

This fast-dissolving 1-ply toilet paper dissolves four times faster than a normal bath tissue!

Don’t hassle with plungers and overflowing toilets anymore! Prevent plumbing problems, clogged toilets, and septic tank overflows by using Scott Rapid Dissolve Bathroom Tissue. This toilet paper can also be used in low flow or no flush circumstances, such as in RV and boat bathrooms. If you have a septic system, or an older home, you may be at a higher risk of toilet paper clogging.

Additional Tips for Preventing Overflows!

Only flush toilet paper. Post signs in public bathrooms to dispose of wipes and feminine products in the proper receptacles.

Keep other items away from the toilet. Don’t leave items on the back of the toilet where they could fall in easily during flushing.

Clean toilets frequently for maximum flush power. Poke a wire coat hanger into the water flow holes under the rim to rid the toilet of blockage.

Might just get some of that for our bathroom. Our toilet is somewhat delicate so we often need to flush twice. I like the idea of fast dissolving paper though, that will be a lot better than what we have now.

That is the best blog for anybody who wants to seek out out about this topic. You definitely put a new spin on a topic that’s been written about for years. Great stuff, just great.

  28. Miki - April 10th, 2012 at 1:36 pm

What makes it fast dissolving…is it just thinner? If there are any chemical additives to the paper, it may be worse for a septic system …

  29. Molly - April 12th, 2012 at 8:54 am

I checked with Kimberly Clark and they said: “There is no difference in thickness or ingredients. This bathroom tissue is manufactured using a special patented process which allows for it to break apart rapidly after flushing.” So that means that there aren’t any additional chemicals, making it safe for septic systems. Hope that helps!

  33. Molly - May 20th, 2013 at 12:14 pm

Scott’s RV toilet paper is back! We’ve restocked our warehouses with this fast dissolving toilet paper!

  34. Terry - October 12th, 2013 at 9:24 am

I live in my RV full time and I recently discovered this paper. I’ve tried them all and this is not only comfortable paper to use but appears to dissolve quickly and completely.

I dump my tanks weekly and have a clear section in the drain so I can see the discharge. Since switching to this paper I don’t see any paper clumps at all just liquid. Lesser papers tend to not dissolve and require a lot of rinsing to move them out of the tank in clumps.

I’m stocking up and spreading the word!

  35. Septic tank emptying - May 19th, 2014 at 6:03 am

The best toilet paper to use for septic tanks is WHITE paper as this contains no dyes that interfere with the bacteria. Do not use recycled paper as this takes much longer to break down. Rapid dissolving paper is better; good product.
