World Toilet Day

Nov 19, 2010

Today is World Toilet Day!

You might be thankful for the invention of the toilet (Thanks to Sir John Harrington!). But did you know that 2.6 billion people (nearly half of the world’s population) don’t have access to toilets and proper sanitation. Lack of sanitation is the world’s biggest cause of infection!

So, don’t take your toilet for granted!

Want to help spread the word? Add a world toilet day bubble to your facebook picture or Twitter pic. Get them at the World Toilet Day site.

How many different types of toilets do you think there are? Maybe we should start a toilet relief fund- because I know that I wouldn’t be able to live without mine.

I didn’t know there was a national toilet day! I watched Wipeout the other day (greatest game show!) and the average person uses the toilet over 2000 times in their lifetime (the number was 2300 something or maybe 2400 something). Either way, I believe it. Thank God for this invention!
